Description:
Our first substantial multi-tenant dedicated office complex, which was featured in the “Architect and Builder” magazine.  The development rights and local authority regulations for this necessitated vigorous negotiations with the local authority by the architect and eventually resulted in the client being able to maintain the required design, and also leasing an alternate access to the building from the local authority.

The design comprises of a multi-tiered three-storey building with various setbacks that forms balconies on successive levels.  This articulation of the volumes breaks down the mass of the building and results a more human scale design.  This approach contrasts from the featureless cubes that characterize developments that prioritizes simple costs over aesthetic value and image that is so much more important to the current “new technology” tenant profile.
